Business and finance education meets extensive sustainability experience
Bridging the gap between business and sustainability through actionable advice and projects
Diverse experience means comprehensive approach: With a rich background spanning NGOs, social startups, and working with corporates, I bring a depth of practical experience and a broad network, enabling a versatile and an effective approach to your challenges.
Ongoing support and no delegation: Here, the commitment extends beyond initial recommendations. You will have the necessary support to implement and maintain your projects effectively, maintaining a hands-on approach long after the initial planning stages, if you so choose. Also, you never need to worry about your project being delegated to a junior consultant.
Industry-Driven Insights: Having worked with clients from the construction, real estate, supply-chain, e-commerce industry and more, I bring deep, practical insights from various fields. This wide-ranging experience is crucial for developing effective ESG strategies tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities of different industries.

While I may not really offer a price advantage in most cases, my clients tend to choose me for several key reasons:
- Generalist Expertise Matched with Deep Knowledge: I bring diverse experience across industries, solving different types of challenges, from startups and NGOs to multinationals. This breadth of knowledge, ways of thinking and network equips me to tackle unexpected ESG roadblocks in a way that is difficult for someone specialised in a niche area. For this reason, I also work with a lot of existing ESG teams as well.
- Personalized Attention: Unlike larger firms, I handle every project myself, with no outsourcing or delegation to junior consultants. You’ll always work directly with me.
- Clarity and Efficiency: My approach is straightforward—no unnecessary slides or over-complicated reports. I focus on providing clear, actionable strategies that save time and drive results.
- End-to-End Support: I don’t just deliver strategies and walk away. My role extends from planning to implementation, ensuring your ESG projects are executed successfully and continue to deliver results. Aware of the ESG regulations, I tend to put a lot of focus on long-term integration of this topic into your company, over only complying with something this year.
There is not a big trend of the industries or size that I’ve worked with. I’ve worked with a broad range of organizations, from startups and NGOs to multinational companies across various industries. Most companies are surprised that ESG-related challenges, at this stage, are very similar in each industry.
- ESG and regulations are relatively new to most companies: Most of the time, companies don’t know what challenges they will actually face in integrating ESG into their operations. They only know the regulations and current challenges. A generalist serves well by dissolving roadblocks no matter what the project is or what direction they want to take—whether it’s hiring FTEs, running a project on waste management, finding a way to get ESG data, or getting the communications team up to speed on ESG details.
- Curiosity and staying up to date: Generalists are often curious about everything, which means they are likely up to date not just on specific articles of a reporting regulation, but the entire process and progress of the regulation with specifics. Sustainability, and the soon upcoming social taxonomy is a huge field, where a holistic view on it all is beneficial to not just being compliant but also knowing all of your options to turn your decisions in the competitive advantages.
- Exposure to different industries: Generalists are exposed to different industries, people, networks, and problems to solve. This gives them an irreplaceable toolkit to use in the face of uncertainty. Uncertainty, and the acceptance of it tends to be one of the biggest roadblocks in integrating ESG into a company.
- If niche knowledge is required: A generalist often has a large enough network to get to the bottom of whatever challenge comes up. If very niche knowledge is required, it is sure to be resolved.
- One-off projects do not build ESG competence in-house: Doing a successful project about a ESG problem area you had often does not transfer knowledge about what to do with ESG in the company. In my experience, the valuable steps are often not a direct route to solving one problem but integrating ESG in the long-term. Not knowing exactly what you need is normal at this stage, but that is not typical in consulting work, as consulting tends to work within very specific boundaries of a project scope.
